I should have taken pictures in Boston. I probably should have done a lot of other things too. But I did get some great books (but not so many that I needed an extra suitcase). I devoured My Almost Certainly Real Imaginary Jesus by Kelly Barth on the way home. The rest are poetry books, including three from Tavern Books, which was started by Michael McGriff, a truly amazing poet and great guy. The books are beautiful too. In fact that was one thing I noticed when I walked around the Bookfair–the books have gotten more attractive. Maybe the people I have too. I should have looked up sometimes. Now if only I could curl up in my bean bag (the best thing I’ve ever added to my office) and read them all.
